Lisa and Tony Pilkington are professional gold prospectors working the Western Australian Goldfields. Many reading this will have attended one of our training courses over the last 9 years and understand the passion we have for prospecting and the real satisfaction we get from helping people on their own ‘Gold Rush’ journey.
This time we are taking things even further!
You are invited to come out bush with us and together see if we can ‘scare up some metal’.
The objective of the camps is to give you an insight into our work as professional prospectors and to enjoy the company of like minded people. The camps are not about you working for us, they are about you and your experience as part of the crew.
This will be a unique experience as you join us at one of our active work sites for 5 Days/4 Nights. We will be running camps using different machinery and gold recovery methods and at different sites throughout the season, so you will definitely be wanting to come back for more!
You will have plenty of time to detect BUT this is NOT a tag-a-long tour. You may find some gold or you may not, either way you will make great friends and be involved in a professional prospecting team. We do this for real… come and be part of it!
As part of our ‘Aussie Gold Rush’ camps, you will get access to active mining leases around Leonora for two months to prospect and camp. This opportunity is only for people who have attended the camp and you will need to be an APLA member. This is a great way to keep your Aussie Gold Rush adventure on the boil.
